Audience & Language
By using famous celebrities, a wider audience was created as these artists have many fans. All the celebrities fans combined would have created a huge audience for VIBE Magazine. As their target audience was 18 to 34 years old, The magazine does not attract a specific gender as the colours used such as red and black are not stereotypical colours for males or females. VIBE's gender rating is 51% male, 49% female. Spin Media had to used informal language to attract their audience.
